Week 3: Call for Delicious Projects!

Dear Donna!
Dear webmastes! I can't believe we are at the end of week and that I have been able to complete all of the task ( I think, Jupiter will tell). Yes, this week was very busy, but fortunately, very interesting and fruitful in learning:
Let's start with the easiest: Delicious for Bookmarking: I find it so useful and easy to use. Here is a free space for us to store our favorite links ( and see others"). I liked the idea of classifying links with tags.
Then CALL for oral/aural skiils: the main thing I have learned here, through Lindasy Miller's article " Developing Listening Skills with Authentic Materials", is the fact that teachnig Listening skills has been for a long time 'regegated to a secondary position", not only in my country, Burkina Faso, but almost everywhere else.
The most challenging task for me was to read the Project Reports. I focused on Alyda Linare's work, whose goal was to " Plan and conduct action research which involves a change related to technology use in your class"/ in which she suggests the use of Blogging to enhance learners' acquistion of grammar skills. Her report was especially of great interest to me, not only because of the simplicity of her project, but also because she pointed out possible difficulties that might not be easy to overcome.
Week 3 has been a great step toward of our learning process and I think Donna has launched the Call for Delicious Projects!
See you next week, Week 4.

  1. Hi Daouda,

You're absolutely right: this has been a busy but fruitful week! And reading those reports gave us a clear idea of the kind of project we can create and develop.

I just love the idea of having Jupiter, the king of Gods for the Romans, deciding on our grades!! LOL

Of course I know you were referring to JupiterGrades. ;-)

  2. Hello, Dear Daouda! I also like the way of posting and adding links to delicious page by the tags. It's easier to distribute articles or sites that we have included there and then post there a new one. I agree with you that on the beginning stage it would be difficult for us to understand the meaning of the project and to choose the idea that we would like to implement at our schools. I posted in my blog two versions of the project that I would like to apply and I am not sure yet what would be the best one. Could you please look through my post and give to me comments? Good luck in your studying at the course! Thank you ahead, Natalia

  4. Dear Daouda,

Hi. I agree with you. Reading the projects in order to complete the task was challeging, but rewarding. Personally, I can say that I have learned a lot of interesting ways to implement technology in my lessons.
I am really excited about all the other things that will come next.
    Regards,
    Wilma
